GCE Group at the All-Russia Forum of Energy Auditing and Energy Services Market Participants

At the All-Russia Forum of Energy Auditing and Energy Services Market Participants the eminent power engineer Vasily Tarasovskiy, the Director of Energy Efficiency of the group of companies “GCE” (GCE Group), made a presentation on the GCE Group operation abroad.
The Forum was held in St. Petersburg in June end with the participation of representatives of the City Government, the Russian Energy Agency, Ministry of Economic Development of RF, research centres and energy auditing companies.
During the event, Vasily Tarasovskiy described the activities of the group “GCE” abroad: on the audit methodology, the features of making and implementing the energy efficiency programs for Alcoa, Arselor Mital, Rafard, 3M and other companies in India, Brazil and Europe.
Currently, the surveys are being conducted at a German metallurgical waste processing factory and at a refinery in Spain.
“In essence, everywhere there is only one goal for our clients - to increase energy efficiency of the production facility. But in Russia and abroad, we rely on different documents and formal guidelines for energy auditors. Besides, in Europe and Brazil because of the influence of stringent standards the attention of the industrialist is concentrated on the reduction of harmful impacts of the factory on the ecology, which is directly related to energy efficiency: the lower the power consumption, the lower the emissions from the generating companies to the atmosphere. In Russia, the main driving force is on the cost-consciousness”, - said Vasily Tarasovskiy.
